The Basics: Photography based hike. Five days total. Three days on the move, Two days relaxing.
- *Day 1: Hike to Parika Lake; July 4th
- Day 2: Chill / Fish / Photog; July 5th
- Day 3: Hike to Bowen Lake via Continental Divide; July 6th
- Day 4: Chill / Fish / Photog; July 7th
- Day 5: Hike out; July 8th
You do not have to be a photographer to tag along on this hike. While I will not exclude anyone who wants to go on this hike, I will say this:
While not at all the hardest of hikes, this is not a simple hike. This hike WILL involve large temperature swings, potential in-climate weather, >30 miles hiked and all else that being in the backcountry brings.
You will be required to have your own gear and food. If you do not know what that is, you probably do not need to be tagging along on this particular trip. I will offer shorter trips as 2018 goes on that may be more appropriate.

*Note: I will be at the Bowen-Baker Parking Lot the evening prior and ready to hit the trail at 0600. There are signs to the parking lot on Trail Ridge Road just out of Grand Lake.
