Due to a lack of a decent wooded macro subject, let’s cancel, or at least postpone, this event. The ‘shrooms that I last saw were quite a bit sad looking.

Join me on a photography-related outing Sunday, October 15th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Where: We will initially meet-up at Dirty Woman Park in Monument, CO. After meeting and greeting, we will consolidate and drive up Mt Herman Road to the trailhead.

No camera or experience is required to come out and participate. However, if you will be taking pictures, a sturdy tripod, a macro lens or extension tubes is recommended. Additionally, a small handheld light source is also recommended. I’m sure I’ll be taking cellphone images as well. Other than that, dress for the weather and be prepared to have your imagination exercised on a macro level.
