In-The-Field Training

All Training Sessions are reserved in 3-hour blocks. Whether you want to go out into the field and receive hands-on camera training or sit at a coffee shop and receive editing guidance; the choice is yours!

Camera Settings

Camera Settings can be intimidating at first, especially if you are freshly moving into a D/SLR or Mirrorless Camera. The good thing is, it doesn’t have to be intimidating, at least not for long.

Aperture Priority

is great for:

  • Controlling Depth Of Field (DOF)

  • Panos with High Dynamic Range (HDR)

Aperture Priority mode is a fave of mine when I am shooting across a scene where the lighting might change during the shot. The Strawberry Crater Lake Sunrise image is a great example of that.

Combination

The choice of how to use your Training Session is totally up to you. The most common method is a mix of both In-The-Field as well as On-The-Computer training where we go out and take pictures and then sit and edit them together.
